Fibocom SC228 is a multi-mode Smart LTE Category 4 communication module. Powered by Qualcomm SM6225 chipset with superior performance and power efficiency. It is featured with Octa-core (4*A73 2.4G + 4*A53 1.9G) processor and high-level graphics engine for powerful image processing capability. It is integrated with low-power island (LPI) DSP for sensors and audio. The high-performance CPU capability supports AI algorithm to run smoothly.
The chipset is adopted with 6nm manufacturing process and support optimized power consumption. SC228 adopts LCC+LGA form factor, be compatible with Fibocom smart modules SS808, SQ808, SC128, SU808, and SC138, offering customers the flexibility to migrate among different technologies. Furthermore, it is designed to serve global market with global 4G LTE frequency bands.
