Fibocom SC208 is a multi-mode Smart LTE Category 4 communication module. It is powered by Qualcomm SM6115 chipset with Octa-core (4*A73 2.0G + 4*A53 1.8G) processor and CPU is designed with Arm DynamlQ, adopting 11nm production process, providing better power consumption performance. It is integrated with high-performance graphics engine to allow smooth 1080P video playing and multi-channel camera input.
The module adopts a LCC+LGA form factor, compatible with Fibocom's SC138, SC228, SS808, SQ808, SC128, and SU808 modules, offering customers the flexibility to migrate between different technologies. Furthermore, it is designed to serve the markets of Europe, Asia, Australia, and Brazil.
SC208 series support 4G/3G/GSM, as well as dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth short-distance wireless transmission technology. It also supports multi-constellation GNSS receiver (GPS/ GLONASS/ BeiDou/ Galileo/QZSS), enabling high-performance positioning and navigation. Meanwhile, it presets open Android operating system with a rich set of interfaces including MIPI/ USB/ UART/ SPI/ I2C, etc., enabling much flexibility and ease of integration to meet various application demands of the IoT industry.
